Terra Nova Results: The following results show how our current 8th grade

students faired in the Terra Nova Assessment tests taken in September of this

year. NP stands for the National Percentile Rank. A 75 would put them above

75% of the students who have taken that test. GE stands for their grade

equivalent. They took this test at 8.1 ( Eighth grade – first month). The results

are the average score for our 9 eighth grade students.

Reading GE 11.1 NP 82%

Language GE 9.9 NP 74%

Mathematics GE 10.6 NP 78%

Science GE 10.7 NP 78%

Social Studies GE 11.0 NP 83 %

PTO: All are encouraged to attend our PTO meeting on Friday, January 29, beginning at 6p. We will begin with a potluck

to be followed with a meeting. We will discuss the Accelerated Reader program as well as plan for future events.

Following that will be time for fellowship. If you have any games you’d like to play, bring them along. Child-care will be

provided.
